I have a exchange week booked in Feb/09 at WMH that I can not use and want to give it to a friend. I did not buy a guest certificate when I booked the unit. Will this be a problem at check in if the person has my confirmation certificate.

You can phone the resort, but I would suggest to be on the safe side, you should obtain a guest certificate.

I personally wouldn't rely on a phone call unless it was followed up with written confirmation, perhaps by email that they would allow your friend to check in without one.

Stayed here many times and had friends stay in my unit on other times.....they were all exchanges.

Have never ever purchased a guest cert...they don't care as long as you add them to the reservation and a valid credit card for charges is on file.
