We had a great time at Westin Mission Hills last year and are going again on an II exchange. Last year the exchange was into WM1 and this year it's WMH. Is there any difference or is it all the same?
It's the same. One is for the first phase of the timeshare project and one is for the second. When you check in, they put you into whatever is available and don't differentiate.
There may be one change: In the earlier units there was a huge (and I mean huge) jacuzzi tub in master BR and they changed design midway and put in a regular tub.
I also think in the newer units the lockoff is bigger and the bigger unit smaller -- does that make sense
The differences CathyB mentioned do exist. But Westin does not differentiate room types when exchangers check in. They just place people into an available unit. You can request the unit with the larger large side or larger small side. If the one you prefer is available, they will let you stay in that type.
