Westin Lagunamar unit requests

We are 3 star elite owners at Lagunamar. Usually we deal with our unit location when we get to the front desk. This year I would like to link a couple of reservations together so that we get a 2 bedroom. One of our reservations is an Explore package and we want to link a studio to it. (Our daughter and granddaughter are joining us). I have already contacted the concierge that has been assigned to us. Any other advice or strategies before we get there?

Call the number on the explorer papers. That is what they told us at our update

I would call the front desk directly ahead of time and maybe a day or two prior to check in. The concierge has no control over inventory. Also, I would send in a message to Vistana with the request. I have done this many times and they have honored my reservation requests.
