Westin Lagunamar Resale Unit- RTU until 2058

After all your excellent advice I made an offer on a 2bed/2bth resale. I am now being told that the RTU is not indefinite it is 2058. Is this correct for those of you who have recently bough resale units? In 38 years it will be my daughter's problem but I'm not crazy about this change.

All Mexico timeshares are RTU and they all renew when the period is up. So basically perpetuity.
