I own Westin Flex 37,000 StarOptions and Sheraton Flex 67,100 StarOptions. I am wondering if I can combine the two for a total of 104,100 options within Interval International to make trades? For example, If I use 51,700 StarOptions from the Sheraton Flex for 2027 which will give me 15,400 remaining. Can I combine them with the Westin 37,000 and make another reservation for 51,700 for 2027 and Bank the remaining 700 for 2028? Is there any limitations like you have to wait for 8 months out in Interval? I understand that if I keep any remaining Options in Vistana, they can be combined for usage at 8 months.

No, Westin Flex and Sheraton Flex cannot be combined in II for an exchange. The only way they can be combined is within VSN for a StarOptions booking or if you elect them for Club Points to use in Abound (assuming the deeds are enrolled in Abound, which is usually the case if you have the ability to use as StarOptions).

I called Vistana 4 times and Interval 2 times and have gotten yes & no answers. It's driving me crazy!! Can anyone on here confirm which IS the Right answer?

When you look at your II account, and go to “my units” are these two ownerships listed separately?
If they are, I can’t see how they could be used together as each ownership has a different pool of points.

My suggestion - Send them a message from your Vistana Acct. message function. Keep your question short and to the point. I find that usually only senior Reps. answer the messages, because Vistana doesn't want to put incorrect info into writing. Note: don't use the AI message function - the one that real humans answer.

Where do I find the message function on my Vistana Account?

I don't know if @kozykritter owns both Sheraton Flex and Westin Flex, but he may know the answer.

When the Westin Vacation Clubs / City Collection come on line, is there a chance they will be added to Westin Flex? Abound Points?
Are we thinking Nashville, Charleston, Savannah will be open for booking reservations in 2027?
Do we think mainenance fees on these properties will help or hurt overall Abound future cost estimates per point?

Only Savannah and Charleston have been said to be future Westin Vacation Club. I don't know if they said anything sepcific about Nashville, but the drawings have labels like "MVC" on it. That said, they would all be available with Abound Club Points. I doubt they will add Nashville or Charleston to Westin Flex. They've pretty much sold out that product and I don't expect them to start pushing it again but anuything is possible.

I also don't see a reason why they would make these available in VSN with StarOptions since points is the new product. It would still be odd though to have a Westin property that is part of Vistana that they don't make available in VSN. So it is possible we could see some availability with StarOptions.

I only have Sheraton Flex. Probably the first good reminder for all of us is that Star Options don't exist in II as they are an internal trading currency within Vistana/VSN, so what you can do with them within that booking system doesn't translate to II. I'm pretty certain that your Home Options can't be combined in II for a reservation since what you are exchanging is an underlying ownership interest and you can't combine two different types of ownership interests to make one exchange. Even though you are depositing the same form (Home Options) for the two different ownership interest types, they can't be used together. You can however combine HO's from different use years within one ownership interest type to do an exchange in II as well as HO's from different contracts of the same ownership interest type.

my coworker upgraded her 1 bedroom vistana village bella phase worth 44000 staroption to 55000 sheraton flex home options earlier this year. 55000 is an odd number of home options. if she wants to deposit into II, how many home options are needed? 37000? 44000? all 55000? will it be 1 bedroom?
way too late for her to rescind

So does interval go by contract or total of the same options. For example if I have 100k pts in one and 100k of another contract, both the same flex product - would it be an exchange on each 100k or can they be combined for a 200k exchange?

Same product can be combined for a single exchange.

I know you didn't ask this specifically, but it sounds like she didn't do much of an upgrade and I bet she spent a lot of money to get 11,000 extra points.

As for how many points are needed for an exchange. There is a chart in the FAQ thread for Flex.

You can deposit any number of home options into II. It doesn't have to be a set amount and it can just be the leftovers you have close to the end of a use year. As far as doing an exchange with those options, 20,700 is the lowest exchange available for home options in II. Everything is based upon unit size and TDI to determine the set amount for an exchange. See the attached chart.
