Does anyone know when the hotel is expected to open? We just made an exchange into oyster bay resort next to westin for March 2022 and hoping to get update on use of amenities at Westin.

The Dawn Beach Club (the timeshare condos) next door has reopened. It traditionally shared some of the facilities (such as the pool) at the Westin Dawn Beach Resort (the hotel). The pool has now been fully refurbished and is open and being used by visitors staying at the condos.
According to multiple sources, the hotel is not open and no one in authority is talking about when, or even if, the hotel resort will reopen. It suffered extensive damage during Irma in September 2017 due to an 18 ft. storm surge and 185 mph winds. Some repairs have been done, but much is still left to be done on the exterior, let alone interior work. It is not currently listed on the Marriott/Westin website.
