Giving away a deeded timeshare interest at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa in Orlando, Florida. Free to a good home. I am handling this on behalf of my grandfather, who is the deeded owner.
The details:
Resort is Westgate Lakes III, Building 500, Unit 548, Week 27. Peak Season float week and float unit.
One half interest deeded, biennial odd year use. Next use year is 2027.
Maintenance fee is approximately 1,836 dollars, billed in odd use years only. Nothing is billed in even years.
Deed is recorded in Orange County, Florida, Book 9791, Page 6265. Title is clean, mortgage satisfied and recorded in 2019.
What the seller covers:
Purchase price is zero dollars.
I pay the full closing and title transfer through LT Transfers, roughly 690 dollars.
I pay the Westgate resort transfer fee, roughly 150 dollars.
I pay the 2027 maintenance fee, so your first out of pocket cost would be the 2029 bill.
Buyer pays nothing at closing.
Things you should know up front:
Westgate holds a right of first refusal. The purchase agreement has to be submitted to them and they can take it back. That is out of my hands and it does add time to the process.
Westgate is a developer with a mixed reputation on this board. I am not going to pretend otherwise. This is a use it yourself or exchange it deal, not an investment.
My grandfather is competent and will be signing the deed himself through a remote online notary. No power of attorney involved.
If you are interested, reply here or send me a private message and I will answer anything I can.

Reformatting the original post for readability. No changes to the terms.

Happy to answer questions here or by private message.

unit size?
Three bedroom standard lock-off. As a half interest, biennial odd year, you get the full three bedroom unit in your use year.
Happy to send the deed and the maintenance fee statement if you want to look them over.
