What week do you own and what is your unit #? I know someone that MAY be interested. The week you own matters due to ability to trade/exchange. The unit you own in matters for the location at the resort if traveling on your deeded week. WG is one of the WORST but I know quite a few people interested in purchasing resale.

Wastegate has quite a bad reputation. I strongly urge you to offer paying the closing costs and deed transfer if you want to have an inkling of hope to unload it. Otherwise you'll likely be using it yourself in 2022.

She loves Westgate and swears she would go every year. I am trying to stear her away but she is watching ebay too. I told her their NEW policy for resale challenges the ability to use the waterpark for free if you bought resale. That is ridiculous. I told her to continue to RENT from owners and get the benefits. She believes she wants to own. She has sat thru a presentation and almost bought. She listened to me and backed away because I told her I would help her on resale. I love Westgate as a "guest of an owner" but that is where I draw the line. I agree that they are indeed "The Worst".
I am still trying to get her here on TUG to learn about this before she makes any purchase. I would even be willing to give her my Woodstone when she is ready to own.

So it sounds like everyone is saying avoid Wyndham…why? Is the ability to exchange within their system with club points difficult or impossible? I was thinking of buying a Week to trade within their system but have no experience using their system. I have stayed at the resort I am buying at though. It would be high season week.
