We decided to take a ride to the west side to get some Beach walking in today. Surf was high and the surfers were out today at Kepuhi Beach. There was a monk seal on the beach there just relaxing and taking in some sun. I even caught him sneezing a couple of times on the video. shaka

Here's some videos. I have some pictures to post later too.

Here's some pictures from Hwy 460 heading out to the West side and then at Papohaku Beach. We had a little picnic lunch at Papohaku today. They have a nice picnic area and rest rooms.

The first few here are from Kapukahehu Beach(Dixie Maru Beach) and then some on the way to Kepuhi Beach and by the pool at Ke Nani Kai.

The rest of these are from Kepuhi Beach. There is a surfer in here and even that monk seal laying on the beach. I even have a couple of us taking a break at one of the benches.

They have some nice shade huts on the beach that the surfers use when they spend the day.

It was a nice day on the west side, 83 and partly sunny. We have been having some rain where we live on the east side. The waves on the north side are definitely seeing some action compared to what we see at WaveCrest.

From a discussion on another thread, I think you can add most of the Island of Molokai as a real and authentic experience. Also, the Garden of the Gods on the Island of Lanai.
