Arrived on Maui today to a packed airport and no Hertz rental cars in the Gold lane. They offered us large SUVs or a minivan, but I find those hard to park sometimes, so we kept passing and other people in line would take those. Waited quite a long time for a car to show up and ended up taking a car I didn't like (too big for me) just to get something.

We noticed while driving from the airport that our cell service disappeared after the tunnel and only SOS was showing up in place of 5G or LTE. Apparently West Maui was without cell service all day. We couldn't text family members traveling with us to find out where they were while we were waiting to check in at the Westin Ka'anapali. Once we were able to get onto the WiFi, as long as we stayed near the resort, we could communicate with each other.

While at Times Market this evening, I was able to get an LTE signal, so it looks like the issue is resolved, but it was a hectic day for a lot of businesses today.
