Welk Resort Mountain Villas Question

Marriott Canyon Villas Phoenix AZ
Has anyone stayed in a one bedroom Mountain Villa? I have a choice of staying in a one bedroom Mountain villas which I believe are new or stay in a one bedroom Villas on the Green. I have three young children with me. Which would be best. Thanks!

Welk Mountain Villas

We toured the MV yesterday. Some of the buildings are now occupied but the pool and other amenities are still weeks away from being completed. The MV units are quite a long walk from everything else on the property so until everything is up and running, I would recommend the Villas on the Green. The facilities there great. There is a water slide for the kids along with a splash zone. It has been 80 degrees here in Escondido this week and many people are using the pool and hot tub even though it is the middle of January.

The MV area will be fantastic once it is complete and we were impressed with the one bedroom units. I would still wait until the rec areas are complete before staying there especially with small kids.
