rescind rescind rescind! you got bamboozled. Buy your week resale and save $20,000+. Then, if you are still content about throwing your money away .. give it to your kids or grandkids, they will appreciate it more than that company. While I also recommend recssion, it is important not to overreact. Many folks on this board including myself bought from the developer at full freight or a slight discount so you are not alone. Also, while the general advice is to not buy at the developer price, most all of us really love timeshares and it is a great hobby so do not get so turned off that you do not continue with this hobby. And, by the way, the Welk resort is a fine one with an excellent reputation. If you spend $15 to joint tug you get the advantage of all of the reviews by other members and there are a lot regarding the Welk resort. I hope to visit there someday myself so your instincts re resort selection were good - just not at developer prices. Funtime

They DID rescind -- about three weeks ago.

Sometimes I get confused about what people think they are responding to -- do they just read the the OP and then opine without reading the entire thread? I am sure they mean well, but it sometimes seems that they are just writing to see themselves in print.

I just think it would be productive if folks didn't chime in unless they had bothered to read the whole story.
