I have a home resort week reserved in the next few weeks. It is not enrolled (bought resale) and I have never used interval and did not buy insurance. Do I have any options to cancel? I am assuming my the only possible option is a deposit into interval - can I even do that with a reservation so close? How much would that cost? I know the customer service reps are swamped so any advice I can get from you all would be much appreciated.

How wide is your season, and is there any availability still open later in your season to rebook via MVC. Example Marriott's Grande Ocean gold season covers spring and fall, so a cancelled ressie now could theoretically be rescheduled to the fall if availability still existed. Not sure which resort you are referring to as seasons vary resort to resort, so just tossing that out as something to consider.

Thanks - the resort is Summit Watch ski season so the only possible weeks would be Dec. of this year - I could not use them but maybe I could deposit into interval? I just read thru another post where someone said interval usually requires 2 weeks advance of reservation but they might be waiving that. Guess I will need to call.

Owners of weeks (vs points) have a lot less options during emergencies and are often just out when you can't use your week. Good luck.

If the first day of your reservation is 14-59 days away you can make a flex deposit with II.
