Last Sunday I spoke with a very nice VC who told me she was able to transfer two of my weeks already deposited with RCI some time ago into my points account. When I checked online my two weeks were immediately subtracted from my weeks account however, they have still not appeared in my points account. I checked with RCI on Tuesday and was told they should appear in my points account in a couple of days and to check back if they weren't. I called RCI again today and was now told it takes two weeks for those points to appear in my points acount. Why are those points which have already been verified by RCI spend 2 weeks in Limbo where I can't use them and when I am losing valuable time from an ongoing search that I had going in weeks and now wish to switch to points. I'm guessing that the cost of the new search and the cost of switching to points has long since been charged to my credit card. I am very angry about this. Very poor service on the part of RCI with which up until now I have been very satisfied.
