Please let me know how frequently week #46 will fall on Thanksgiving? It looks like it's about half of the time - is this correct?

Week 47 this year Thanksgiving is on November 24th

More often week 47 will fall on thanksgiving. 2017 and 2018 it will be week 46.

You may want to double-check with your resort, too...sometimes the interval calendars are not the same. For example, at my home resort, week 47 is well into December. Weeks 43 or 44 would be where Thanksgiving would lie. Thanksgiving would be an awesome time to travel...good luck figuring it out!

Definitely not half the time. I believe the only time it falls on week 46 is if the month ends on a Thu or a Fri. The long term average is probably 28.5% although the short term is favorable with 2017 and 2018. I actually purchased a cheap week 46 knowing that it is a value trader along with the rental ability for '17 and '18.

How does their calendar work with week 44 usually falling on Thanksgiving? I have seen resorts shift a week but never seen one be 3 weeks off. How does it get there? Do they actually start week 1 in the middle of January?

Edit: I just looked up their calendar. That is a strange one. What are the weeks tagged with an "M"? It is safe to say that no other property has that calendar although the point to check and be sure is a good one.

M weeks are maintenance weeks. The resort closes down and they do their heavy-duty maintenance then, so as not to close units and disrupt folks during "their" week.
