weather in early June or Aug

Is the weather decent in early Jun or early Aug? I'm not familiar with Hawaii's weather patterns.
Also, I've heard some parts are always rainy. I was looking into Kaanapali Beach. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The rainy season is in the winter - summer is the dry season. Ka'anapali Beach is not on the "wet" end of the island - on Maui that's the Hana side of the island.

It will be lovely! Each island has a "wet" side....typical the east side (on Kauai it's also the north). Summer months are MUCH dryer on every part of every island than the winter.
