IS anyone in aruba now ? Do you have any info on the recent weather? I have been tracking it on line for about a week in preparation for our trip next week and it seems that aruba is stuck in a rainy weather pattern that continues through next week.
It is typical for the weather reports to forecast rain, but usually if there is any rain at all it is very brief, usually 10-15 minutes, although it may be a downpour during that time. Then the sun returns and you'd never know there had been any rain.
Have a great trip.

We were there for six nights starting on October 9th. Everyday we woke up to beautiful sunny skies. The clouds would roll in for a bit. We had about 15-30 mins of rain everyday around lunch. Then the clouds disappeared and it was gorgeous. Enjoy your time there!
On our first trip to Aruba, my fiance and I were caught in downtown Orangestad during one of those 20 minute heavy downpours. We were huddled under an awning, until a local driving by offered to drive us back to the resort (at that time Sonesta Suites/now Renaissance.) He took us straight to the resort, and then was insulted when we offered to pay him.
I think that was the moment we completely fell in love with Aruba. All this to say....sometimes those daily downpours bring unexpectedly good things.
