It reminds me of the time my inlaws were driving back with us from Laughlin, and we stopped at the rest stop along the 40. They just couldn't get over the warning sign, with the coiled rattler on it, recommending they don't step off the path because of the rattle snakes in the area.

It was my pleasure to take their picture with it as one of their big memories of California. :)

I just wonder what they would do if they saw this sign???

Driving on Daniels Extension between Lehigh and Ft. Myers (Gateway area) are many, many yellow and black "Panther Crossing" signs. We have yet to see anything but cattle and various birds. These signs are also seen in other areas of SW Florida where there 'might' be some Florida panthers. There are very few Panthers left in this area, so they are going to protect those we do have.
