I started bidding on this after seeing it was identified as the #1 rented resort on Redweek. We always wanted to go here and when I heard it rented well I thought it would fit well into my use/rent portfolio. I lost it late in the auction. I was at $6.9k but thought it would go much higher based on all the research I did.

Because of my unfamiliarity of the resort I was only going to go so high but it had a low reserve and I was leading until the very end.

I was having mixed feelings because I do think I could've rented this well when we didn't use for $3700+ which would have been more than enough but now with all the details I'm glad I didn't win.

That is a pretty good deal opposed to developer prices, unfortunately after you pay the $3,000 in maintenance fees and almost $2,000 to close the property it doesn't seem as good. However I have seen identical listings for up to $16,000 for the same unit, I am unsure if it said it was phase I or II however which has a big influence in price.
