I was thinking about staying at Kierland in May but I just got on Redweek and there are no rooms available. Really just need the Premium side or Deluxe if the bedroom has a door.

Any other sites to check, Marketplace does not have any.

Replied to a post on Resortnetwork but it was for June on..... Same thing with ebay.

Anyone ever rent from Greatrentals.com?

I know Expedia and Westin both have them but I am not spending $300 a night for Arizona.

I wanted to rent at Kierland Villas as it is a mandiatory resort. I would like to buy at WKORV/ WKORVN but all you guys are telling me I am going to waste my money and pay too high of yearly fees, so want to give Kierland a chance but May is my only option.

Thanks in advance
Richie

Yeah I saw those....

Really do not need both sides for me, my wife and our 5 and 1.5 year old daughters. Might just go ahead and pay the $15 for redweek and contact the renter and see if they did have May avail and/or willing to split up the room.

Was really hoping for something the 6th through the 12th but beggars can't be choosers.........

Another Questions, does it have to be Sunday to Sunday, or can that be changed? About $35 more per-person to fly on Sunday with Alaska Airlines.

Does II have a external rental site like RCI does?

The check-in days at Westin Kierland are Friday, Saturday or Sundays. II does offer rentals through their getaways section for members. They did have some May weeks at WKV, I picked one up in January, but they have all been scooped up. II does still have a 1BR available at the end of May at Marriott Canyon Villas. It's about half the price you have been quoted for a 1BR at WKV and the rooms are just as nice.

A 2 bdm. lock-off can be split for a renter - contact the owner and ask if they are willing to do so.

An owner can change their date - but only by calling Starwood and making a new reservation. Many owner will be unwilling to do a 6 night rental - because they will lose the extra night. You are better off to rent 7 nights and use 6.
