The first thing I did on your behalf (and I was also interested) was to check out RCI listings during January of 2023. As I expected, the only RCI listings were "Exchange Plus" listings.
Apparently, in areas that RCI recognizes has little in the way of timeshare exchange opportunities, RCI has negotiated with that area's hotels and resorts (i.e. not necessarily timeshare resorts) to expand potential traveler options.
In the case of Miami Beach, the main two Exchange Plus destinations are the Park Royal (booking.com rating 8.3) and Crystal Beach Suites (booking.com rating 7.4). Both are 1 BR/studios (king or queen bed plus foldout couch) and have partial kitchen setups.
Here's what those RCI Exchange Plus resorts offer:
For an exchange value of 12 plus $599, you get 3 nights when available.
For an exchange value of 14 plus $799, you get 5 nights when available.
For an exchange value of 14 plus $999, you get 7 nights when available.
They're both in North Beach which is good and bad. If you want to be in the heart of South Beach, you're a few miles away. On the other hand, there's a free Miami Beach shuttle that'll take you there pretty quickly.
Also, parking is far less expensive and far less of a hassle in North Beach. While meter parking might be $4 per hour in South Beach, it's only a dollar an hour in North Beach. Lots everywhere and even street parking is available. And only charged between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM such that the most you would pay if you leave the car untouched all day is $10.
