Want to sell our 2 TS weeks (1 BR 2 BA) in Kauai, The Cliffs at Princeville

Does anybody have an idea of what the prospects are for selling our weeks at this Princeville resort on Kauai? I've had the impression that forever now it's been nearly impossible to sell back timeshare generally, but are the chances better in this area of Hawaii/Kauai? We bought these weeks in 1991 but don't make it to Hawaii anymore, and they are now a real negative to us financially. I'd appreciate any advice or wisdom.

I don’t know anything about your resort but I see that there is an annual 2B that sold on eBay. It went for a dollar with all closing/transfer fees paid by the seller plus a $300 gift card. You may have to give yours away with similar offerings.

Whatever you do, don’t pay an outfit thousands of dollars upfront to cancel your contract or to advertise on some website because they promised you it would sell for thousands. Either way you would be out your upfront fee and still own the timeshare.

There are stickies in the forum on how to sell your timeshare. There are also reasonable closing companies, LT Transfer is one, that will handle the whole process for you. Good luck!
