In this thread http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12992 an RCI member is asking about alternative resorts due to the closure of Walton Hall. A special VC has been assigned to try to locate alternative accommodation. That is a positive thing.
However, when I looked in the online Directory, Walton Hall is still showing. I can't believe it takes much effort to either remove the reference completely or modify it to indicate it is no longer available.
A single thread seems to show both the good and the shoddy sides of RCI's operations.

While we are not able to actively exchange to this resort and are canceling previously confirmed exchanges, this resort's status is not completely clear for the future. For example, if the resort were to be sold, the new owner might wish to resume the resort's affiliation with RCI. When more is known, we will update our records online. Sorry for any confusion.
