Walt Disney World - 40th Anniversary

I was at Disney World for my honeymoon in December 1996 for the 25th anniversary and I remember that they were supposed to do 25th anniversary special stuff throughout 1997. Does anyone know if they are doing year long celebrations this year? I was planning a family trip on my Wyndham points to Smokey Mountains, but if they are doing something special we may switch it up.

I live north of Orlando, and there's really nothing going on at WDW for their 40th Anniversary. I think they had something on the exact day they opened the park, but nothing current or planned.
