Can I walk from 177 Commonwealth to 110 Huntington (Marriott Copley Place)? On Mapquest, it appears that there is a freeway between the two addresses. Is there public transportation for that? Obviously, I need to get a map of Boston!
You'll find a lot of people walking there in the evening. I would walk it (and have, many times) up until 9:30 or a bit later. There are a lot of restaurants along most of the streets there (except on Commonwealth Ave) that will be open well after that. Much after 9:30, I might not walk it unless I was with someone else.
We will arrive in the city Tuesday late afternoon or evening
That gives us all day Wednesday and Thursday as well as Friday AM. I will be staying an extra day, so I will have all day W,T, F before heading to airport on Saturday AM.
Can you tell that I am getting excited about this trip?
As someone from the west coast who is used to driving always between two points, Boston is a city where most things are close enough together to walk or at least take the "T".
