I have no idea what this means and/or how to do it. Anyway you can explain the process?
Open season and walking a reservation are just two examples.
Maui only has a few units available right now, as soon as they finish more buildings it should get easier.I have been trying to book a few days in Maui using this system but there never seems to be three nights together, only two.
And what happens if at midnight, you don't see the consecutive night open up? what do you do?
What happens if you fall asleep earlier than midnight one night and the next night there is a gap in your reservation?
Ugh... this is very hard
it's midnight EST, so a little easier for us west coasters, we only have to stay up to 9pm
is there a fee to make an OS reservation?I am trying to book an additional room for my adult kids at the Maui Bay Villas.
Is is possible to "walk" a reservation in Open season? I have no more points left. In other words, if I am able to grab the first two nights, can I then add another night as it opens up at midnight? and keep going till I have a week?
No fees but a non refundable (at this point) per night price.is there a fee to make an OS reservation?
That has been me for OO....weeks ahead.I've had it where somebody beat me to it and got in front of me so I just started picking up the day he was dropping off. Some people start walking weeks ahead of their intended dates.

If it becomes available. You could end up with two isolated non-refundable nights..... just reserve the next night whenever it becomes available
You only walk units that have availability and you pick them up as the 9 month window moves. If you lose an availability, you are more than likely will ahead of the no cancel window. Actually, being elite premier makes it much easier since there aren't any booking fees.If it becomes available. You could end up with two isolated non-refundable nights.
