Walking a reservation - question

Hi, I am hoping to book Paris in October (able to book 176 days in advance), but seeing how everything is booked up until the window opens, I read up on walking reservations. However, the policy says "reservations using club points are non-changeable" - does this mean I can't walk reservations for this property?

I'm confused where you see this because I have changed a Florida affiliate reservation using club points, Tortuga.

You mention Paris, so is this HVC reservation? Is this a Max restriction, since you own Paradise?

I'm Legacy HGVC.

I'm HGV Max, not sure if this is a limitation.
 
I moved this thread because I think that HVC/DRI members will be able to help answer. I don’t think that this is a HgvMax specific question but more like HVC Paris booking question. From the note, it specifically stated that this booking will be non-changeable. (Similar to FA {HGVC affiliate resort} which is non-changable.

I'm new to HVC (DRI) site - but the options on a currently held reservation are...


Reservation Protection, Modify Guest, Cancel, or Return to Itineraries


I do not see the ability to change a reservation - move it forward a day.

If the Paris property (HVC) was booked on the "Legacy" website - the rules of walking it would apply to that booking.
