I put in 2 searches on the waitlist for the same dates same unit sizes as I need 2 units. They both say waitlist level 1. This was my first time doing waitlist. I can't seem on the Wyndham website where it says anything about the levels. What does it mean? If I book one will they cancel my other request? I am booking for close friends to use as I can't go. I will use guest certificates (or whatever)--I will be putting their names on the reservations. I was not charged for the waitlists. Is that a benefit for being a platinum owner or is it a glitch in the system?

Hovering over the "?" in the waitlist display will show the message above. Allegedly, you won't be charged for the waitlisted reservation until it is fulfilled and accepted by you.

Edited to add: I don't trust this rating system. The one request I have is what I believe to be near impossible to fulfill. Time will tell...

I would not put a lot of stock in the level the system assigns to the waitlist requests. I have a waitlist for the 3 or 4 bedroom presidential units at Seawatch - literally only two units in the entire resort - at a holiday, which is also categorized as level 1, but in reality is probably one of the most difficult waitlist requests to ever fulfill.
