Waiting for search at Grand Mayan

We have an RCI search going for a 2 bedroom at the Grand Mayan during
the week ending Dec./including New Year's Day. Right now, they have hotel
and one bedrooms available and I am afraid they might be gone if we wait too
long. Two one bedrooms would do in a pinch, but we really want a one bedroom and a two bedroom for our group of six.

How long should we wait? Is it too soon to bit the bullet?
