Do some float weeks at the Waiohai cover weeks 1-51? I was under the impression that 51 and 52 were platinum plus weeks when sold there, but I've seen some mention that this may not be the case. Anyone know? Thanks.

Marriott changed how it denominated weeks part way through this project.

At the outset, Marriott sold only week 52 as an event week; all other weeks were sold as floating 1-51. Weeks deeded in Hales (Buildings) 1-3 were sold in this fashion.

Marriott then changed to selling both week 51 and week 52 as event weeks; remaining weeks were sold as 1-50 floaters. Weeks deeded in Hales 4-8 were sold such.

Whether the week floats 1-50 or 1-51 doesn't seem to affect resale price. So buy something deeded to Hale 1-3 to give yourself the option to reserve week 51.

Note: Hales 1-3 contain both ocean view and island view units.
