Wailea Beach Marriott Resort - Has anyone stayed there? Any special advice?

what good advice can anyone give me about this resort? I know Maui Ocean Club is great, but I'm not really familiar with this resort. Any tips or advices will be appreciated.

My wife and I stayed there 4 years ago, just after Marriott took over this property. We were also there before the refurbishment.

We are owners at MOC so we have that as a point of comparison.

We really enjoyed our time there. The resort is nice, though different from MOC. Laid back, nice location, good beaches within easy walking distance, close to the Shops at Wailea, great walking path along the beach both directions.

Overall, we really liked it and would stay there again.
