Does anyone know of a source (ie, website) that lists VRI's managed resorts and maintenance fees?

Yes and no, respectively...

Does anyone know of a source (ie, website) that lists VRI's managed resorts and maintenance fees?

The website on which all resorts currently managed by VRI can be found is : http://www.vriresorts.com.

I am unaware of any web site (or any other single source) where maintenance fees are collectively available for VRI-managed resorts (or for any other resorts, for that matter). I can't say with certainty that no such source exists, but I can say with certainty that I have surely never heard of one...:shrug:

I know of none specific to VRI.

One controversial source of SA and MF data is here.

When it was first mentioned on TUG BBS it created a firestorm because a few felt it was incomplete/inaccurate while some thought any data was better than none.

C'est la vie

For what it's worth...

<snip>...VRI's managed resorts and maintenance fees?

Personally, I hold VRI in high regard as a capable and experienced management company. I currently own four weeks among 3 different facilities managed by VRI (used to own two other weeks at another, now sold). I am generally happy with VRI practices and effective cost containment. Although it's probably irrelevant, none of those four facilities are in RCI Points ---and none of them, at least to my knowledge, have any plans or intentions to change that status.

All that being said, I must note that none of my VRI-managed facility ownerships reflect particularly low maintenance fees, at least imho.

I realize that this reply does not provide you with hard numbers. My intended point is simply that if you are seeking out VRI-managed resorts in the belief that they have low maintenance fees, I respectfully submit that such a belief may be unfounded.

I share these sentiments. I would add as well that in my experiece VRI as a management company generally does a good job of assessing the adequacy of resort reserve and replacement funds. So while VRI resorts might not have the lowest fees, the comparison isn't that simple. There are many resorts that have low fees because they are underfunding capital reserve accounts.

FLBR reserves with VRI

Not sure if this is relevant but I have a 2BR lock off at FLBR and when VRI sends the annual bill they break it down to show the reserves included as:

$763.01 2012 maintenance fee
$ 30.49 2012 property taxes
$ 84.49 2012 reserves
$877.99 Total

$ 3.00 Optional ARDA-ROC Donation

Thanks for the input

You all make good points and I agree, with my limited (but growing) knowledge of VRI, that it seems to do a admirable job at management. Thanks for your input. Happy New Year!
