Vistana Villages gets full service restaurant

Epicureans, get ready to please your palates. Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando, Florida, has transformed the Flagler Station Bar & Grill – formerly a general store and a quick stop for sandwiches and other snacks – into a full-service, sit-down restaurant, complete with breakfast, lunch and dinner service open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. IMO this was the only thing missing from Vistana Villages.Also WKORVN is next for restaurant enhansment. Ugrades to eateries at almost all Starwood TS resorts set for near future.

Thanks for the info. - do you have a link? Is there going to be a new restaurant at the WKORV, or are you talking about the one they are building at the WKORVN, next door?

I really like the direction that Starwood seems to be heading with Vacation Ownership.... New resorts, now upgrades to existing resorts... keep it coming Starwood!! Just get us an online reservation system!

I was at Broadway Plantation last summer for the owners update.

When I was asked my opinon about how VV could be improved (that's where we own) I said "full service restaurant." I was told it would never happen because there wouldn't be enough business to support it. Boy, am I glad that person was ill-informed.

So, where does the new Flagler's deli go anyway?

As for Broadway Plantation, owners there should be jumping for joy. Last summer the only on property food was at the bar. And it shut down at 6pm or so! Not even a deli or convenience store on property for snacks.

So, this is great news!
