There are a ton of Vistana Villages for sale on the resale market. Can anyone suggest the easiest way to determine if a unit is Bella or Key West?

Many Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

You may be confusing Sheraton Vistana Villages with Sheraton Vistana resort.I see many units for sale at the Vistana resort but not many at the Viistana Villages resort .These are 2 seperate resorts in different locations.

Resorts Owned
WKORV, WKV, 2-SDO, 4-Kauai Beach Villas, Island Park Village (Yellowstone), Hyatt High Sierra, Dolphin's Cove (Anaheim)
Please note that Sheraton Vistana RESORT is not a mandatory resort (no Stroptions on a resale.)

Bella and Key West are at Sheraton Vistana VILLAGES. - Confusing, I know...

Have you taken a good look at the Staroption vs. Maintenance fee chart?

SVV: Key West MF- $1,321 - Staroptions - 95,700 (from Sept. 2008 price list)

WKV: MF- $1,252,76 - Staroptions - 148,100 (actual 2009 MF including SVN)

SVV: Bella MF- $1,232.00 - Staroptions - 95,700 (from Sept. 2008 price list)

For about the same MF you get 52,400 MORE Staroptions a year at WKV!

I heard Key West is generally a bit nicer and has a better pool. We chose KW over Bella this fall when we upgraded a unit. Both are mandatory so it's important to figure out if you are getting either. NOTHING else in Florida is mandatory. The seller should advertise it accurately and tell you which it is in. They can get this info easily by requesting an estoppel from Starwood, which they should have before they sell the unit anyway.

As Denise said, SVV (Bella, Key West, St Augustine...) is different than the million SVR resorts that are also on eBay so be careful what you buy. SVV's mandatory section usually goes for $5000 ish whereas SVR units can go for $1.
