Most travel insurance won’t cover Covid-19 unless you actually get sick With it before or during the trip. I would call and confirm what is or isn’t covered. Hopefully you can go and don’t encounter any issues.

My thought is, if it is a thought, follow your gut. If your gut is telling you that you may need it, go for it. But, make sure you find out what is not covered. Your personal health insurance will cover you if YOU get sick, but what if the airline or hotel/timeshare shuts down due to it?
