YOu need to call Vistana to have them assist with the exchange and get the fee waived.

You shouldn't pay it if you are trading into a Vistana or Marriott property. Hopefully they can just do the exchange fee for you on the phone and waive the fee. I had already paid the fee and was successful having Vistana contact Interval and get the fee refunded.

I spoke with a supervisor on the multibrand agent line and she told me to be eligible to have it refunded or waived, it has to be for a transaction that occurred January 1st 2023 or after and the usage involved has to be 2023 or after. In my case I had deposited 2023 usage into interval in 2022 and did a transaction in 2022 for a 2023 stay but since the transaction date was in 2022, no refund. Another member did a transaction in 2023 but using 2021 usage already deposited in interval, no refund.

I found the same as well. The date of the deposit had to be made after 1/1/23. I had one trade that met that requirement and was the II fee was refunded and another one which did not meet the criteria and was not refunded.
