Vistana Lakes 2/2 - Unit 1835 Week 26 (Floats week 1-52). I can get it for $1400.00 including closing costs AND, the Renovation Fees HAVE been paid (M/F & Tax = 776, use starts next year).

I'm a Wyndham owner, but this seems like a VERY good deal. Does Shearton have an internal trade program as good as Wyndham's? Can anybody tell me how Vistana Lakes compares to Bonnet Creek, Orange Lake or the HGVCs? I've stayed all over Orlando but never at Vistana Lakes...

Thanks,
AJ

the property is lovely, the units are being refurbished. there is a lot to do on site.

keep looking at prices before you go ahead and purchase. you might be abel to get it for much less.

the lakes section will not have internal trade capabilities within the starwood system because it is a voluntary resort. you will have to use II to trade.

Thanks!

As a Wyndham guy, I enjoy not paying for exchanges and rarely do I use RCI. I have no interest in paying M/F then getting hit with a fee to exchange.

No exchange fees within SVN...

Are you sure you want to go to Orlando every year?

Thanks,

Most resales do not qualify for internal exchanges in the Starwood system. In Florida - Vistana Villages (except Amelia & St. Augustine) does qualify and Vistana Resort does not.

For lots of info. about how Starwood works, see the FAQ at the top of the board.
