My family and I realized we had a free week coming up (3/4-3/11) so I tried to book my float week at Vistana REsort. With such short notice they had nothing but put me at Vistana Beach REsort instead. Any information on these units - we have 7 going - grocery store close by? Thanks for any help!

Mary Beth,
I don't believe you can put 7 people into the Beach Club. The units there have a king bed in the master br and twin beds in the 2nd br. Those plus the sleeper sofa only accomodate six people. I would check that out very quickly.

Mary Beth -- It depends on the age of the children. Bob is correct when he says that there are only beds for 6. However, if one is a toddler, you may be able to have them sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag.

The Ocean front units (Check-in Fri or Sun) are the largest. However, they only have one shower. Check the reviews in the review section.

There is a Publix supermarket (small but complete) about 2-3 miles south of the resort. Also there is a Cumberland Farms minimart less than 1/2 mile south.

This is a smaller resort with less amenities than you are used to at Vistana/Orlando, however, the activities director is great with the kids.

Let us know how it goes since it has been a year since I was there are we had another hurricane last fall.
