I have a week booked here in December and was wondering if the resort has any shuttles to Cabo or if it is walking distance to the highway. I have a car booked but prefer other forms of transportation in Mexico if they work well.

We rented a car for our stay last November and liked the flexibility it provided. Free parking at the resort and at their sister property in CSL.

Yes there is a shuttle that goes to the Marina resort. However I believe there is a charge, unless you did the All-Inclusive plan.

We were here last Feb and had guests coming and going to the airport using the resort shuttle to Vista Encantada. We also had a car. Often times our younger guests would take a golf cart ride to the main gate at the highway and uber to Cabo. We would drive to Cabo and use the valet at the Marina Fiesta. We didn't resort shuttle to the Marina Fiesta because there was a time constraint that made using the shuttle to the Marina Fiesta difficult but I think it was free for us staying at the Vista Encantada. You get the shuttle reservation ticket in the Starbucks at the reception area.
So you could , without a reservation as most of our guests did, just get on the Vista Encantada shuttle to the resort from the airport. You could have a golf cart take you to the highway to catch an uber to where ever. You can take the in-between resort shuttle to the Marina Fiesta. There is a decent sized grocery store in the Marina. Everyone that shuttled to the resort took an uber or cab back to the airport.

My brother in law and his family were with us on the last trip to VE. He rented a minivan at the resort costing about $60 a day for a trip to Todo Santos and San Jose. We rented from Avis and had a mid sized car for the entire trip which was discounted because we were offered a presentation discount at Dreams. Our total after discount was about $450 for three weeks.
