I tried uploading the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to my laptop, but ended up cancelling the download before it completed due to having to run an errand I forgot about. Anyway, now, I notice I have this icon/shortcut on my startup page titled "RingtoneJunkiez". When I tried to go in and unistall the file, I get a caution msg. advising that "An unidentified program wants access to your computer". (Unidentified Publisher).

I have AVG free as my security software and ran a full computer scan, but it didn't pick up anything.

I'm fearful I've picked up a virus. Is there a quick fix to this, or should I take my laptop in and have a computer tech check it out?

Oh, and any responses: Please respond like your talking to someone completely computer illiterate, because, well, I am!!:D

I'm not sure how it got installed on your computer, but I don't think it is a virus and is probably not connected with the Adobe Flash update. If the software add/remove option in your control panel can't uninstall it, try downloading the freeware edition of the Revo Uninstaller:

It can often uninstall programs when Windows has trouble uninstalling.
