I posted a message about the units at Tree Tops and Fairways a few days ago. I would not stay in the two bdrm units at either resort. During our last trip there, we asked to be changed four times. All of the units we were sent to in Tree Tops and Fairways were in horrible condition. What we found was when you are booked into Tree Tops and refuse to accept the unit assigned due to its condition, they will send you to Fairways even though that section has a Friday check in. Well, it does not matter. All of the units left a lot to not be desired. We finally agreed to the last unit after being changed four times. We were tired of looking at the filthy units. My suggestion is for you not to unload the car until you have had a look at the units. We learned this lesson a few years ago. I would pass on staying at either resort unless you can get the 3 bdrm at the Villas at Fairways, or are assigned to a unit in Tree Tops with a higher number. I have a friend who owns at Tree Tops. Her maintenance fees are now over $700. and for what????????
Yes, there are a few good amenities at the resort, but that does not account for the ugly, flithy units. I just do not understand why the owners are not lashing out about the condition of the units.
We are preparing to check out of Shawnee Ridgetop in about an hour. We are in Rt39. This unit was refurbished in 2005 and it is great. The unit is a two bdrm, but with 3 full baths! The jacuzzi is on the first floor and the three bathrooms are pretty large. I was very surprised by the size of this unit, but there is no porch. That was fine with us. It's too cold to sit out there anyway. I was also surprised that this section is pretty empty, but RCI had no additional last call units. I wonder why?
