Could use some help here. I am taking my family (adults and kids) to VDP in March. I have enough weeks. I can use those but I am checking to see if it is less expensive to book the hotel with AI through a site or use my weeks and buy AI at the hotel however I have sent three emails, one to UVC and 2 to the hotel to try to find out how much AI is if you are an owner. Haven’t received an answer yet Anyone know where I could get an answer from. Or anyone know what the cost is and is there a different rate for children. Thanks

I believe it’s $833 per person for seven nights. Kids thirteen and under pay half price.

It went up to over $90 a day and still had the 3 day minimum for owners last winter. You could call resortcom to find out the resortcom price. You could get a better deal by using the concierge when you check in.

Best bet is to call resortcom. Their email response system is crap.
It also depends on which VDP resort and whether it is high season or low season.

On my resortcom home page there are links to PDF's showing AI pricing using points redemption program.
It shows list pricing for AI by resort for "member pricing".
3 day minimum during high season:
VDP-PV = $97/day adult, $48.50 per child
VDP-Flam/Arco/Cabo/Lor = $110 - $55
VDP Can = $119 - $59.50

I've never done AI so don't really know. I'm confident that Bill is right and that you can negotiate a better deal with the concierge at check-in as an inducement to get you to yet another update meeting.

Have fun.
