I am interested in purchasing at the new VD Arco. I was wondering if I could buy at VDPalmar re-sale instead and trade to VD Arco... does anyone know if that is possible? Thanks

LESLEY, if you buy a GOLD MEMEBERSHIP resale you will be able to use it at the new resort VDP FLAMINGOS in Nuevo Vallarta(we are there right now) VDP IN CABO AND THE NEW VILLA DEL ARCO IN CABO. With Gold Membership you can go to any of the new resorts. We did exactly that and we are exjoying the Flamingos now for 8 weeks and in October we will take 4 of the summer weeks and go to Villa Del Arco in Cabo, it's supposed to be opening this summer. When you book with UVC you just book into Villa Del Arco. Your home resort can be VDP IN PV, VDP FLAMINGOS, VDP CABO OR VDP VILLA DEL ARCO, they are all under the Villa Group of Resorts. Gold Membership allows you to go into any of the top resorts. Any more questions just ask, hope it all works out or you. Paula :)

A fe more questions

Thanks for the response. I do have a few other questions... is it more difficult to book into a resort that isn't your home resort, from your post it doesn't seem so. Also, I am new to this, is it going to be easyto buy a Gold membership and apparent which are when they are listed on resale sites? Thanks again, Lesley

LESLEY, Our home resorts for Gold Membership are - VDP IN PV and VDP IN CABO, I can book into any of the Gold Resorts which I do, we love VDP FLAMINGOS, so I booked 8 weeks in here, in October I will book 4 weeks in Villa Del Arco if it is up and running which I hear it will be that is part of Gold Membership Benefits, one thing that has been taken out of the Benefit package and which was discussed when we bought was in unit free internet access. According to the email I received re the Annual Meeting there is now going to be a fee for internet access within unit and the fee mentioned to us by the UVC REP, was not a small one, i.e. 15.00 per day which is unacceptable to say the lease, I have sent many emails to UVC and I hear the internet access fee will be absorbed, probably in the maintenance I guess. Hope this helps, Paula :)
