Vidanta - Has anyone received money

From Vidanta for their unused weeks under the auspices of the company buying them for marketing purposes? We’re being told that weeks supposedly unused by December 31st will result in a check sent to the owner around March 31st? Thanks for the real life confirmation all!

If you can confirm in writing - please post how it is structured .

1) Vidanta has used prepaid Visa cards to pay owners for the Ambassador Cerificate promo .( iie - kickback when one is used by a guest)

2) Vida Sales have used the “ buy back for marketing weeks “ term in the sales
process. In that context it is generally “smoke & mirrors “ to justify why they are giving a better deal to convince you to buy .

3) I also understand they offer to buyback unused addendum - things like
discounted golf or Seapacks . The idea being - it helps them with “ inventory
management “

So- get it in writing / then please let this forum know how it works ,

As an owner of multiple weeks for 21 years, we have not ever received a check from them. There have been many years where we did not use our weeks. With the no pay unless you go, they have the option to use your "unused" weeks because you did not pay. If you pay, you go or exchange or rent to someone yourself.

As T-Dot-Traveller said, if you have it in writing, it would happen. This would be a separate Addendum, not in the generic multiple page contract that you initial. You would have this signed by yourself and the VLO. I would be surprised if you had one.
