I am new here but have posted one ? yesterday and would like to do another today. I have tried to join TUGG
twice (and will) but I get distracted and start reading posts. We had a TS since the 80's at Vistana but I have learned more in the
last 24 hours reading here than since we bought. Bought into Vidanta Celebrity Park 2 years ago.
Right to use. Yep, surprised we did it, paid too much, have mostly forgiven myself, wife has. That being said, is CPark property
open at all now, has anyone been there, and what is going on with the development? It does appear to be an awesome concept
and we may go there when available. And as I learn more I am going to try to put up weeks for rent and would even sell (understanding
better now it is probably not sellable) if I can actually do that. I still have a lot to learn.

You have bought into something that doesn't exist yet. Still under construction. Which is typically how Vidanta works. There should be a clause in your contract stating what existing levels you can reserve.

Yes, it does not yet exist. Vindata, which is Mayan Palace, Grand Mayan, Grand Bliss and Luxx is selling vacation ownership [still timeshares, but Vidanta wants to move away from the timeshare usage]. The concept is a Park. It would be an amusement park, similar to Disney with different options for staying. They are selling 8-week blocks. The amount of money they are asking is ridiculous. So, basically, it would cost me $450 K to purchase 8 weeks. These 8 weeks include neither Xmas nor New Year. Then...somehow I qualified for a different type of "premium" membership for $72K Also out of the question. Who would pay $72K? There are so many other places to vacation besides Mexico. To me, it made little sense.
