We are staying at the newly remodeled penthouses at Kingsbury at Tahoe at Stateline, NV (South Lake Tahoe). They are gorgeous. I think last weekend was the first time people could stay here.

The penthouses have always been great. Three bedrooms, three baths, good size kitchen, huge living room, two decks - one toward the lake and one toward Carson Valley.

The new remodel is a gorgeous update. Pretty much rebuilt from walls out. All the windows have been replaced and framed with fairly dark stained pine. The kitchen and baths all have granite counters and new cabinetry. The recently updated refrigerator is the only thing that isn't new. Master bath restructured to a better layout.

There is a new doorway from the hall to the kitchen that works really well. The island in the kitchen space was made smaller and much more useful.

Flat screen TVs in the living room, master and second bedroom. Much improved living room. They used to have a couch you sunk into and couldn't get out. Now they have a very tasteful and comfortable L shaped sectional. The Murphy bed has been relocated to a different spot in the living room that works much better.

Only down side might be the change from a wood burning fireplace in the living room to an electric fire.

I've never heard of a 3 bdm. there!

Is this The Lodge at Kingsbury Crossing???

What is the unit number? - I'm an owner there and I want to reserve that one!

Lodge at Kingsbury Crossing is a nice resort at the bottom of Kingsbury Grade.

Tahoe at Kingsbury is in the Vacation Internationale system and is at the top of the Grade on Tramway Drive. It's Tahoe at Kingsbury that has the two penthouses on the top (7th) floor.
