I know, a weird title. I got a new car, and in the process, had to remove my gate transponder (for where I live) from the old car. It was attached to the windshield with some sort of Velcro. It isn't regular, run of the mill Velcro, I know that, cause Jerry tried that on his windshield, and eventually it melted and slithered down to the dash. He had to use Goo Gone to get rid of the residue.
I've looked at Lowe's, and all the Velcro they have, even the "industrial strength" stuff says to avoid sunlight. Any idea what it is that was on my windshield, and where I can get some? For now I keep the transponder in the console of my car and hope I remember to hold it up when I get to the gate (otherwise I look like an idiot when I wait at the gate and it doesn't open). I'd love to be able to attach it to the windshield again.
TIA,
Fern
