I was looking at Elara for a trip this coming February but I want to go Wed to Monday. The issue is, it's only letting me book Fri to Fri or Sat to Sat.

Is there any way around this? Is there a better timeshare in vegas that will let me book Wed to Mon?

Exchanges are typically a week long, and most often begin on Fri/Sat/Sun.
Which exchange company are you using? In II the Tahiti Village has Monday check-in (which means Monday check-out).

All Elara inventory in RCI currently shows up as weeks (no points). In my HGVC account, there is a lot of flexibility. I assume all of the inventory in II is weeks.

Look at the RCI rentals for the same week. Usually they are so cheap, that it's still a bargain to just stay for a few days and not stay the whole week. You aren't required to stay the entire 7 nights, but if you are checking in late, be sure you let the front desk know.

The only thing that turns me off on the Las Vegas Hilton RCI rentals is the daily resort fee $25 per day. I do like the use of RCI on the Vegas Wyndham properties No daily resort fees and a discount on points needed to book compared to Using points on a Wyndham reservation (77,000 or 105,000 vs 154,000 for a weekly stay).

problem is the op wants a visit that spans the check in/out days, so would need 2 weeks.

Maybe a HGV owner can help out. :)

Maybe I should just use my Wyndham points to stay at a Wyndham Timeshare?

I really like the idea of staying at Elara because it's right on the strip.

But now that people are saying it's $25 a night, my plan to book two weeks seems like a stupid idea.

Maybe wyndham is the way to go.

The Grandview Las Vegas on S. Las Vegas Boulevard is a resort where you could book those days if you have RCI Points &, ~$40.nightly fee.

Short drive to The Strip.

You would still have to pay a daily resort fee ($30.), unless you are an owner there. ;)
