We are at the Varsity Club this week. We weren't sure what to expect, but we're pleased.
Tucson has a lot to offer. The old town is wonderful, with so many very old buildings preserved, and many old homes, many of those now are used as office buildings.
Yesterday, we visited the Di Grazia gallery and museum, and found it fascinating. I have a small collection of Di Grazia Indian Children figurines, and it was great to see where the artist lived and worked, and to see so many examples of his art. We've also visited the San Xavier Mission, which is beautifully preserved, and had lunch at El Charro, the oldest Mexican restaurant in the US. Jean

Kartchner Caverns is not a bad day trip. It's a live cave and reservations are advisable. There are Passport books available in Tucson from the Chamber that gives you 241 on many of the local habits. The Desert Museum is one of them and worth the visit. When we were there they had several docents available who explained or demonstrated things. Made the trip more enjoyable. :D
