Have you stayed there? If so, what building and were there washers and dryers in units?

What are the newer buildings?

If you stayed in one of the older buildings, had they been refurbished?

Thanks

Nancy

ps. Does anybody have a map of resort and if so, could they scan and email it to me.

Vacation Village At Parkway Is Outstanding.

Have you stayed there?
About 3 Januaries ago we snagged a Last Call reservation (or maybe Instant Exchange, not sure which of those bargain-type reservations it was) at Vacation Village At Parkway -- had a nice time.

That experience took us full-circle -- from our 1st latter day exposure to timeshares via 2002 sales tour there (which infected us with the Timeshare Bug), to an actual week in an attractive & spacious Vacation Village At Parkway unit.

The unit we got was the larger (full kitchen) 1BR side of a 2BR lock-off. As I recall, there was a washer-dryer stack-unit right there in the unit.

The whole story of our outstanding week at Vacation Village At Parkway is available for reference in the TUG Resort Reviews section.

The older buildings have washer/dryers on each floor, but the newer buildings, which is most of them, have washer/dryer units in both the full bedroom with full kitchen AND in the partial kitchen lockoffs. We have had 2 bedroom units and had 2 washer/dryers and it was very convenient.

We love VV at P and would go again in a heartbeat. They are going to give exchangers newer units. We have been there several times, always in the newest and greatest building they had.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm assuming the newer the building the higher the number, is that correct? I had read the newer units had w/d in them and the older one's didn't. I just wanted to know which building to request if I call them.

Thanks.
Nancy

Hi Nancy, you are correct he new buildings correspond with the higher number buildings. The "older buildings" do have laundry facilities on each floor, I never had a problem accessing them. Have a great time, I am sure you'll enjoy the resort, just DO NOT do the timeshare presentation/pitch as it will put a damper on your vacation.
